General FAQs

List Trader is a SaaS platform designed for Wholesale and Retail traders. It allows traders to share needs lists and stock lists on the platform and automatically match them with the best deal. List Trader lets you sell for more as a seller and buy for less as a buyer. Get everything you need as a trader this on one single dashboard. Choose List Trader.

To change dashboard language on List Trader follow these steps:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on “Account” on the left hand side menu.
  3. Then click on “Subscriptions”.
  4. Choose a suitable package that you or your firm would need.

Menu & Dashboard FAQs

Follow these steps to create a free account with List Trader.

  1. Go to www.brandtrader.com
  2. Click on “Login
  3. Then click on “Register” (You will find this below the “Login” and “Cancel” button)
  4. A registration window will open where you need to fill your First name, last name, Username, preferred email address and set a password.
  5. Go through the terms and Privacy Policy documents if necessary and check the box.
  6. Lastly, click on the “Register” button.

Congratulations. Your free List Trader has been made!

After visiting the List Trader platform, go to the left hand side menu and click on “Dashboard.

The dashboard is easy to navigate and contains important updates & features such as:

  1. Recent offers: This indicated the recent offers made by wholesalers and retailers across the platform.
  2. Recent bids: This indicates the recent bids made by wholesalers and retailers across the platform.
  3. Total products: Total available products on List Trader.
  4. Total daily transactions: This indicates the number of complete individual transactions that happen daily across the platform.
  5. Amazon top selling products: List Trader showcases its products and ranks them according to the demand on Amazon. In this feature products are ranked and shown according to their rating on amazon.
  6. Date selection: You can choose the date for which you want to see the Amazon top selling product data for.
  7. “Sort by '' feature: Sort the Amazon top selling products list according to product category using this feature.
  8. “Wholesale Discount Calculator” feature: 
  9. Retail buyers list: This is a list of the top retail buyers trading on List Trader.
  10. Top selling categories: This is a list of the top selling and trending product category on List Trader

There are two steps to create a stock list on List Trader.

  • Add data from file, Import from file
  1. On the left hand side menu on the dashboard click on “My Stock”.
  2. Click on “Add New List
  3. Click on “Proceed” under “Add data from file, Import from file”.
  4. Click on “Upload data from file” or enter data manually in the given table.
  5. Try to upload a .csv file.
  • Add list manually
  1. Here you can select data from the existing data from the system and compile the list.
  2. On the left hand side menu on the dashboard click on “My Stock”.
  3. Click on “Add New List
  4. Click on “Proceed” under Add data manually, fill in the details form.
  5. Fill in the details for your list, including List name, currency, packaging, and location on restriction.
  6. Choose how long you want the list to be active for.
  7. Click on Okay

There you go, you have created your first stock list.

There are two steps to create a Needs list on List Trader.

  • Add data from file, Import from file
  1. On the left hand side menu on the dashboard click on “My Stock”.
  2. Click on “Add New List
  3. Click on “Proceed” under “Add data from file, Import from file”.
  4. Click on “Upload data from file” or enter data manually in the given table.
  5. Try to upload a .csv file.

  3. Click on “Add New List
  4. Click on “Proceed” under “Add data manually, fill in the details form”.
  5. Fill in the details for your list, including List name, currency, packaging,
  6. Click on “Okay

List Trader has a central repository of Needs lists and stock lists. These lists are perfectly matched in an instant with each  other. A buyer who sends out a needs list on List Trader wants to buy for the cheapest price and a seller wants to sell for the highest price.

List Trader has an AI that lets these requirements match. It matches a buyers needs list containing a minimum purchase price with a specific seller for whom that price was a high or a reasonable selling price and can deliver the products in time.

Here, find all your buyers and sellers by offering your products and replying to best price bids here. Here, you can respond to your needs list's and stock list's bids.

Get the latest wholesale rate of any product, near your location. You can use “Wholesale price check” feature when

  1. You are purchasing products and need to know what price you should buy at.
  2. You want to know the current wholesale rates in your area.
  3. You want to know if other wholesalers have the products in stock.

This feature can give you a lot of competitive advantage.

To use the wholesale price check feature on List Trader follow these steps:

  1. Go to List Trader app
  2. Go to “Wholesale price check” on the left hand side menu
  3. To check the price, you have to add the product barcode.
  4. To do this you can click on “Add Manually”.
  5. You can also “Import a File” and fill in the table, or upload a “.csv file” (or any other suitable file).
  6. If you choose to “Add Manually”, you need to add the “Product Barcode” and “Product Title” and click on "Add product".
  7. You can then see the wholesale price for the Product.
  8. After this, you can also switch the price view for “Prices for USA market”, “Prices for Global market”, or “Prices for Importer”.

This feature shows the trending lists in the marketplace that could be helpful to you as a buyer or a seller. You can also search for lists in the marketplace for more information.

To check the purchase orders on List Trader follow these steps:

  1. Go to the list Trader application.
  2. Click on “Purchase orders” on the left hand side menu.
  3. Here you will find all your purchase orders.
  4. This panel will show you information such as Po No, seller, delivery date, total amount and quantity, etc.

To check your invoices on List Trader follow these steps:

  1. Go to the list Trader application.
  2. Click on “My invoices” on the left hand side menu.
  3. Here you will find all your invoices.

To create a new invoice on List Trader follow these steps:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on “My invoices” on the left hand side menu.
  3. Click on “+ New Invoice” on the top right.
  4. Fill in the necessary details and click on “Save”.

Profile Settings FAQs

To check your profile details on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on “Account” on the left hand side menu.
  3. Then click on “Profile Details”.
  4. Here you get details such as company details, personal details, brand details, etc.

To set up company details on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Profile
  4. Click on “Company”.
  5. Here, you can update the information or make the necessary changes.
  6. You can click “Next” to fill in other profile information.

To set up your personal details on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Profile
  4. Click on “Personal”.
  5. Here, you can update the information or make the necessary changes.
  6. You can click “Next” to fill in other profile information.

To change your user type on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Profile
  4. Click on “User type”.
  5. Choose among 5 options such as, “Wholesale buyer or seller”, “Direct Distributor”, “Manufacturer”, “Agent or Broker”, and “Retail store buyer”.
  6. You can click “Next” to fill in other profile information.

To update your brand details on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Profile”.
  4. Click on “Brand”.
  5. Here, you can update the information or make the necessary changes.
  6. You can click “Next” to fill in other profile information.

To set up your address details on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Profile”.
  4. Click on “Address”.
  5. Here, you can update the information or make the necessary changes.
  6. You can click “Next” to fill in other profile information.

To verify your company on List Trader follow these steps:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Profile”.
  4. Click on “Verification”.
  5. Here, you can add details that will help verify your company on List Trader.

Account Settings FAQs

To update your profile picture on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Account”.
  4. Click on the “Profile Picture” option on the left hand side. Chances are that you are already on the profile picture window by default.
  5. Here you can either use “Default Avatar”, or “Use Gravatar”.
  6. Mainly, you can upload your preferred profile picture by clicking on “Upload file” and then “Choose File”.
  7. Click on “Save changes”. 

To change your password on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Account”.
  4. Click on the “Change password” option on the left hand side.
  5. Provide your current password, then suggest a new password and then confirm it.
  6. Lastly, click on “Submit” for the new password to be effective.

To recover your account if you have forgotten your password:

  1. Click on “Forgot password” at the login window.
  2. List Trader will prompt you to fill in the email that you wanted to log in with. Fill this email and hit “Submit”.
  3. A password reset link will be sent to this email address. Open up your email and click on “Reset my Password”.
  4. Enter a new password. Re-enter it for confirmation and hit “Submit”.
  5. Finally, login with your new password.

To update your personal info on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Account”.
  4. Click on the “Personal info” option on the left hand side.
  5. Fill in the necessary information. 
  6. Mainly, get your phone number verified via OTP.
  7. Click on “Submit” to save changes.

To enable two-factor authentication on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “My Account”.
  4. Click on the “Two Factor” option on the left hand side.
  5. Check the two-factor option.
  6. Click on “Submit” to save changes.

If your two factor authentication is enabled, then:

  1. While logging into your account you will be prompted to “Select a provider”.
  2. Select your provider and click on "Submit".
  3. A code will be sent to your email (if you have chosen your email as the provider).
  4. Copy this verification code and paste it into the “Code” section on the application.
  5. Then click on “Submit”.

To link accounts on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the Power symbol on the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on the power symbol again and this time you’ see a “Linked Accounts” option.
  4. Click on the “Linked Accounts” option.
  5. Click on “New Link account
  6. This will show a warning message showing ”You will be logged out from the current account and login with another account. Once you do it, two accounts will be linked.”
  7. Click on “Yes”. Now, fill in the login details of another account that you want to link.
  8. Click on “Login” to continue linking.
  9. If You do not want to continue linking, click on “Click here” to cancel the link login.

To change dashboard appearance on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the “Settings” symbol on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “Appearance”. A drop down menu will appear.
  4. Choose out of three options; Light, semi-dark, and Dark.

To change dashboard container width on List Trader follow these steps:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the “Settings” symbol on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “Container width”. A drop down menu will appear.
  4. Choose out of two options; Boxed Layout and Full width.

To change dashboard language on List Trader:

  1. Go to the List Trader application.
  2. Click on the “Settings” symbol on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “Language”. A drop down menu will appear.
  4. Choose out of 14 different language options.
